Because of the unique features of nephrite jade stone, different stones may have white or yellow veins with different shapes in the stone; this doesn’t mean the item is defective, instead, it shows that the gua sha is made of natural nephrite stone. Gua sha tools should not be dropped due to the brittle nature of natural stones.
How to use your Gua Sha tool: - Cleanse your face and hands. - Lightly spritz your face and neck with a hydrating mist/toner. - Gently massage 4-10 drops of your favorite serum or facial oil onto your face and neck. - Warm the tool between your hands. - With the tool at a 10-15% angle to skin, perform slow sweeping motions along facial contours and in an upward fashion to sculpt areas of concern. - Sweeping motions should be performed 3-10 times for maximum effectiveness. - Always use gentle, downward strokes at the end to drain fluid away from the treated area - Tip: Feel free to play around with the sides and angles to see what areas fit your face best to achieve desired results. You can picture where you want to direct facial tissues and imagine being an artist who is sculpting areas of concern.
